The Colonial Theatre is conveniently located in Downtown Pittsfield. This picturesque Gilded Age Theatre serves as the perfect backdrop for your special day. Available year-round with an on-site wedding planner at your disposal, the Colonial staff will help you create the wedding day of your dreams with a little extra drama. Hold your ceremony, reception, or both at this historic gem!
There is no place more magical than The Colonial Theatre regardless of the type of event you’re planning. The Colonial offers six distinct spaces to fit every vision – whether it’s an intimate sit down wedding on the stage for 100, an extravagant gala for 700 or anything in between, we’ve got you covered.
Availability
The Colonial Theatre is available to rent for performance events as well as other events/functions. With its extensive facilities, the Colonial has played host to both rock bands and weddings, comics, and business meetings. The Colonial Theatre is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
The Colonial Theatre Lobby may be rented separately from the full theatre space. The lobby is great for business meetings, cocktail receptions, and more!
The Garage (located in The Colonial Theatre Lobby) is a versatile space used for intimate concerts, cabaret-type events, and dance parties.

The Unicorn Theatre

The Unicorn Theatre is a small rustic theatre used mainly for Berkshire Theatre Group’s summer season. The Unicorn Theatre has also played host to many readings, performances, concerts, and even a live DVD recording. The Unicorn Theatre is located in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

The Mortimer Lloyd Artist House is now available to rent! The Artist House offers room rentals for a weekend at a time or monthly. There are spaces for small to mid-sized events, whether you’re throwing a baby shower, hosting a rehearsal dinner, or planning a business meeting. Rates for the events and rooms vary as each experience is customized and tailored to fit individual needs. For those looking to fully experience everything the Artist House has to offer, they can rent the entire house.
