BTG’s year-round education and training programs meet 10,000 schoolchildren annually and produces the only approved curriculum-based theatre work in Berkshire County’s schools. BTG PLAYS! programs include after school intensives with students navigating barriers, Summertime Classes, performance opportunities, and Magic Tree House Touring Shows!

BTG PLAYS! Playwriting LabExpress!

A fun, collaborative program where students explore playwriting in a playful atmosphere, work together to create original plays and perform their work in a final presentation for friends and family.

Theater Express!

A lively performance experience where participants explore creative storytelling and the basics of acting through ensemble-building exercises, theater games and improvisation, culminating in a joyful final presentation.

Session 1: July 20-24 9am-3pm Grades: 4-6 $500
Session 2: August 17-21 9am-3pm Grades: 1-3 $500

 


Performance with Pizzaz!

Explore costume design and performance as students learn theatre fundamentals, play games, visit the costume shop and create looks from BTG’s collection, all leading to a lively final presentation for family and friends.

Let’s Dance!!! with Kathy Jo Grover

Join BTG PLAYS! director and choreographer Kathy Jo Grover for an exciting dance experience focused on Broadway jazz. Students will learn choreography set to a well-known Broadway musical and perform their work in an energized final presentation for family and friends.

Session 1: August 10-12 9am-3pm Grades: 1-3 $300
Session 2: August 13-15 9am-3pm Grades: Grades 4-6 $300
