Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS

Berkshire Theatre Group seeks ten to sixteen child and adult actors in 4th grade and up, to participate in the upcoming touring production, Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS. This musical is based on the best-selling book series by Mary Pope Osborne. Jack and Annie journey in their magical tree house to the eighteenth-century Caribbean and visit an exotic island with pirates, where the two discover the power of friendship and the simple pleasures in everyday life.

The show tours during the 2019-2020 school year with show running on average, one-two per week. The show will have performances during the school day, occasional week long engagements and occasional weekends and evenings. The roles and positions are open to members of the Berkshire community.

Rehearsals for Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS will begin in mid September 2019 and will occur after school, evenings and weekends in Pittsfield. The play is based on the Magic Tree House Book #4: Pirates Past Noon written by Mary Pope Osborne, with book by Jenny Laird and Will Osborne, lyrics by Randy Courts and Will Osborne, with music by Randy Courts. The play is directed by Travis Daly, with musical direction by Erin M. White and choreography by Kathy Jo Grover.

Auditions will be held on Monday, August 5 from 1pm–4pm (Please be prepared to stay for the entire time). Actors will be asked to read sides and/or sing songs from the play.
