The theatre is a place to reflect on what it means to be human. We look forward to opening our theatres when the time is right.

Homegrown Crafts

Episode #1 – Spring Sock bunnies

Join BTG alumni, Ashlei Melillo, in crafting Spring Sock bunnies. Her new craft series will focus on creating fun from items commonly found at home & recyclables.

Each week will be a different themed craft night, that focuses on creating a project from supplies you might find around your house (Please note: Most of these will be non-theatre style crafts and projects).

In future epidsodes Ashlei might offer a sewing night, knitting night, plastic bottle night (Example: Making an outdoor bird feeder). Each show will teach the basics of a skill and then show what can be done with that skill.

Ashlei Melillo is a Berkshire County native whose lifelong love for the Arts have led her to Berkshire Theatre Group. Ashlei is the Costume Designer for Berkshire Theatre Group’s production of The Little Mermaid Jr. (Aladdin JR, Willy Wonka Kids).

She lives in Lanesborough, Ma with her husband, Joe, and 1 year old son, Ezra.

Age group: Family style projects for parents, with possible children’s participation.
