BTG PLAYS! on Vacation is offered during the April School Vacation Week at the Berkshire Theatre Festival campus for students ages 8-13. Classes run Mondays-Fridays from 9am until 2pm. Classes culminate in a final performance. Registration required. Scholarships are available through the Richie duPont Award. Students must apply.
BTG PLAYS! Summertime classes are offered during the summer vacation months and held at the Berkshire Theatre Festival campus in Stockbridge, MA. Sessions are divided by age group. Each one week session culminates in a final performance. Classes run Mondays through Thursdays from 9am until 2pm and Fridays from 9-12pm. Registration is required. Scholarships are available through the Richie duPont Award. Students must apply.
Richie duPont Award
This fund was started in memory of a talented young actor named Richie duPont who was part of the Berkshire Theatre Group community where he performed in two productions on the Main Stage. To honor his memory the fund was established in 2005 to enable children to pursue their dreams of being on stage and afford them the opportunity to attend one of the BTG PLAYS! camp sessions that are offered during the school vacations.
